Community Night:
On Friday Night we will be holding a community night with the local ski club putting on a BBQ for us. For non-competitors there will be asked to make a small donation. The aim is to get the community involved and set a good vibe for the rest of the event. We will have Wakeboard, Slalom and Barefoot demonstrations running throughout the evening with the boats on display later in the night so come join us for a drink, BBQ, chat & perhaps a boogie.
NOTES:
- No glass will be admitted to the event site so please ensure you bring cans or those real classy goon sacks or transfer your drinks to plastic containers prior to arriving on site.
- Locusts are bad on the trip up so a mesh grill for your car could be a good investment.
- Police are active on the freeway with long range speed cameras so watch your speed.
- Feb is set to be roasting up there so slip slop slap, bring shade, tents, eskis & hats.
- Please keep in mind we will be setting an example for the younger generation of skiers &
boarders from the local area. While we understand swimming is awesome, please aim to keep to the banks during competition times. Rope swing and heaps of swimming space is available down near the bridge.
What to Bring:
- Tents & camping gear
- Bathers & towel
- ski/boarding gear if you have it
- inflatable toys
- sunscreen, hats, shade
- drinks (no glass) & snacks
- costume for Sat night
